Creative Distilling in New Orleans

In this week of heightened interest in booze, we have a tale of four tastings around town.

First on the agenda, we’re at Whole Foods Market Uptown, 5600 Magazine St., on Wednesday, 07/16/2014, from 3-5pm. We’ll have tastes of 2X Gold Medal Winning Euphrosine Gin #9 and our Gold Medal Winning Toulouse Green, Absinthe Verte.

In case you miss us on Wednesday, we’ll be back for a repeat performance at Whole Foods Market Uptown, 5600 Magazine St., on Friday, 07/18/2014, from 4-6pm. Once again, Euphrosine Gin #9 and Toulouse Green, Absinthe Verte, will be available for your sampling pleasure.

Then on Saturday, 07/19/2014, we defy the laws of physics and appear in two places at once! From 2-4pm, we’ll be at Dorignac’s Food Center, 710 Veterans Blvd., Metairie. You’ll have a chance to try Euphrosine Gin #9, along with Toulouse Red, Absinthe Rouge; and Toulouse Green, Absinthe Verte. Do you prefer the Red or the Green? Visit with us and we’ll let you find out!

Meanwhile, we’ll also be offering tastes of Toulouse Red at Rouses #46, 701 Baronne St. in the CBD, from 3-5pm. To whet your thirst, here’s a shot from our most recent tasting at Bin 428.

This weekend, we’ll also resume our Bottle Sales Hours from 10am to 2pm. Visit Atelier Vie for tastes of our products and direct purchase of bottles.

Would you like to taste our spirits at your local Rouses store? You’re in luck as we’ll be sampling our 2X Gold Medal Winning Euphrosine Gin #9 at Rouses #26, 4500 Tchoupitoulas St., New Orleans, from 4:30 to 7pm this Friday, 06/27/2014. Visit with us for tastes of gin, recipe suggestions, and information on visiting the distillery.

On Saturday, 06/28/2014, from 2:30 to 4:30pm, we’ll be offering tastes of both Toulouse Red, Absinthe Rouge and Toulouse Green, Absinthe Verte, at Rouses #33, 3711 Power Blvd. in Metairie. Visit with us to learn about absinthe distillation, absinthe myths and facts, and to answer the most important question: do you prefer Red or Green? If you taste both, we’ll let you find out!

Also this weekend: FREE ATELIER VIE T-SHIRT offer extended! We’ll be giving away one of our snazzy t-shirts to the first customer of the day on both Saturday and Sunday. Free t-shirt with bottle purchase, early bird gets the shirt!

Our gin development work continues as well. This weekend we’ll continue experimenting with locally grown fresh herbs, plus a brand new ingredient. Visit during our Bottle Sales Hours and you might get to sample the results!

Delightful news for gin lovers! 2X Gold Medal Winning Euphrosine Gin #9 is now available on the Northshore at Acquistapace’s Covington Supermarket. Euphrosine Gin #9 is also now available at Treo in Mid City. Sláinte!
