Gin Development, Tastings, and Bottle Sales Hours this Weekend + Free T-Shirt Offer

Our gin development work continues as we try new flavor combinations. This weekend we’ll be trying some intriguing new possibilities with locally grown fresh herbs. Visit during our Bottle Sales Hours and you might get to sample the results!

Also this weekend: FREE ATELIER VIE T-SHIRT to the first customer of the day. We’ll be giving away one of our snazzy t-shirts to the first customer of the day on both Saturday and Sunday. Free t-shirt with bottle purchase, early bird gets the shirt!

We’re also stretching out with some tastings farther afield. Metairie absinthe aficionados: visit with us today, 06/20/2014, at Whole Foods in Metairie, 3420 Veterans Blvd, from 5-7pm for tastes of Gold Medal Winning Toulouse Green, Absinthe Verte.

On Saturday, 06-/21/2014, we’ll be offering tastes of 2X Gold Medal Winning Euphrosine Gin #9 at Acquistapace’s Covington Supermarket, 125 E 21st Ave., Covington, from 1-3pm. Northshore gin fans: Euphrosine Gin #9 is in stock at Acquistapace’s.

On Saturday, 06/14/2014, we’ll be at Rouses Market #26, 4500 Tchoupitoulas St., from 2:30 to 5pm, with tastes of both Toulouse Red, Absinthe Rouge; and Toulouse Green, Absinthe Verte. Visit with us and taste our award-winning locally distilled absinthe!

Delightful news for gin lovers! 2X Gold Medal Winning Euphrosine Gin #9 is now available on the Northshore at Acquistapace’s Covington Supermarket. Euphrosine Gin #9 is also now available at Treo in Mid City. Sláinte!

El Presidente on the Happy Hour Show – It’s New Orleans!

A lively time was had by all as Jedd Haas, President of Atelier Vie, visited Casa Borrega to record the Happy Hour Show, hosted by former rock DJ turned sassy questioner, Grant Morris.

“Jedd is the founder of Atelier Vie distillery, where he makes Absinthe, whisky, and the award winning Euphrosine #9 Gin that he brought with him to this show.
We don’t like to give anyone free commercials but without a word of exaggeration this is the greatest gin you’ve ever tasted. Jedd describes it as “Gin for people who don’t like gin” and he’s right – it’s in a class of its own. Which is why it won a gold medal at the distilling olympics.”

Also appearing on the show, singer Kelcy Mae and fisher-poet Robin Rosemond. During the after-party, we gave Casa Borrega owner Hugo Montero a taste of Euphrosine Gin #9. He compared it head-to-head with the only gin permitted in his tequila-centric bar, and pronounced it the winner!
