Creative Distilling in New Orleans

The mighty engines of the digital media have been churning out copy on Euphrosine Gin #9 Barrel-Finished Reserve and our new gin packaging nonstop! Well, not really, but we have been getting some additional attention from a diverse selection of the media.

Most recently, Todd Price weighed in on the whiskey notes found in Barrel-Finished Reserve. “The tobacco-colored gin has a gentler heat than the original. It tastes almost like a juniper-flavored whiskey.” Todd also declared that “The flavor is more herbaceous and less sharp than a typical London dry gin.”

Meanwhile at the distillery, the first release of our Euphrosine Gin #9 Barrel-Finished Reserve is going fast! We had a strong response last weekend and now less than a dozen bottles remain for direct purchase at the distillery. Visit us next weekend to get a piece of this historic release of Louisiana’s first Barrel-Aged Gin! Limit one bottle per customer for this release.

Also coming up this week: two tastings where you can sample both of our gins. Join us on Thursday, May 28, at Brady’s Wine Warehouse, 1029 Oretha Castle Hailey Blvd; and on Friday, May 29, at Pearl Wine Company, 3700 Orleans Ave. Both tastings will be from 5-7pm and both gins will be available for sale at these stores.
