Atelier Vie is pleased to announce that out of four spirits the company entered into the American Distilling Institute’s 8th Annual Judging of Craft Spirits, all four were awarded medals.
Euphrosine Gin #9 was awarded a Gold Medal and Best of Category in the Contemporary Rectified Gin category. This ADI win comes on the heels of another gold medal for Euphrosine Gin #9, awarded by the American Craft Distillers Association (ACDA) in March.
In the Absinthe category, Atelier Vie’s Toulouse Green, Absinthe Verte, was awarded a Gold Medal, while Toulouse Red, Absinthe Rouge, earned a Silver Medal.
Completing the medal sweep, Atelier Vie’s Riz, Louisiana Rice Whiskey, received a Bronze Medal in the Clear Whiskey category.
“Euphrosine Gin #9 was only released four months ago, and we’ve now been awarded two gold medals for it, with this second award including designation as best of category,” said Jedd Haas, President of Atelier Vie.
“These awards, plus our second ADI gold medal, for Toulouse Green, along with silver for Toulouse Red and bronze for Riz, our Louisiana Rice Whiskey, speak to the strong teamwork and quest for excellence that we bring to small batch distilling,” Haas continued.
ADI is the oldest competition dedicated to craft distilled spirits. As such, it’s extremely competitive, with hundreds of spirits entered. ADI awards are exceptionally selective, with a limited number of medals awarded. Atelier Vie is honored to receive recognition of this caliber from such an established and serious competition.
Atelier Vie was founded in New Orleans in 2011 to create new expressions of indigenous liquor. Bringing together a shared love of craft spirits, coupled with a “do it yourself” attitude, Atelier Vie is pleased bring these national spirits competition medals home to New Orleans.
Congratulations on this amazing achievement! Can’t wait to have an Euphrosine Gin #9 and tonic to celebrate!
