Louisiana’s Clear Spirits – Atelier Vie Featured in Louisiana Life

Louisiana Life has a new article about clear spirits produced in the state, and Atelier Vie is featured in the leadoff spot. Culinary and cocktail historian Elizabeth Pearce gives a nice overview of the development process for our Euphrosine Gin #9 and drops a hint about the forthcoming Barrel Aged version. Rounding out the section on Atelier Vie are a couple tempting and all-original cocktail recipes featuring Euphrosine Gin #9 by Sal Agnello. Riz, Louisiana Rice Whiskey, Earns An “A” From The Whiskey Reviewer

Kurt Maitland, Deputy Editor of The Whiskey Reviewer, visited with us several months ago for an in-depth tasting and discussion of our spirits. Today, Kurt published the results of his sensory evaluation in his review of Riz, which earned an “A” and five stars!

As Kurt put it, “I don’t know if it’s because this is my first taste of a Rice based American Whiskey, if it’s something in the rice and water from Louisiana but this is easily one of the best tasting white whiskies I’ve ever had.” As Kurt noted in the review, it’s not just the rice and the water, but we also cite our use of malt whiskey yeast and our old-school pot distillation process as key to creating the distinctive and pleasant flavors found in Riz.

“The Whiskey Reviewer is a web magazine currently ranked as the #5 whiskey-only website in the world, and the web’s rising source for whiskey reviews, news, mixology and drinks, history, travel, and other information.
